How the Grease-Eater Dosing System Works

The easily adjusted timer pump adds a small amount of Hydra

Grease-Eater directly into the pipe line feeding the fat trap and/or drain and is normally set to operate once a day after the kitchen has closed.

Battery Operated - Zero Maintenance

No need for mains power. Powered by 8 no C cell batteries (supplied) which last for over a year, the unit also has a low battery warning light which comes on when there is 50 hours of battery life left.

 

Easy to Check Grease-Eater Solution Levels

The translucent 5 liter containers which sit in a white steel cradle enable instant check of fluid level.

Each Hydra Grease-Eater Pump system is complete with easy to follow instructions, full fittings and your choice of container size. Hydra also offer an installation service if required.

 

Important Legislation Advise

The Building Regulations 2000 (H1 Foul water drainage - 2.21) as amended 2002. Requires that all kitchen drainage in commercial hot food premises should be fitted with an effective means of grease removal.

The best time to inject Grease-Eater is an hour after the kitchen closes to avoid any boiling water or fats.
