Installation
The GS range of Large; underground grease traps are manufactured from robust polyethylene. They should be installed in a minimum of 225mm of concrete. Set them into a wet concrete base and then fill them with water before backfilling in the unit. Do not pour concrete directly onto the tank.
All installation procedures should be carried out observing the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and involving good building practice.
These instructions are provided as a general guide and do not allow for non-standard site specific issues which may arise. Failure to adhere to these instructions may compromise the structural or operational integrity of the product which will be deemed outside the responsibility of Hydra International Ltd.
Maintenance
It is recommended that grease traps are professionally serviced on a regular basis to ensure effective and efficient function. Service intervals range from monthly to annually with an average of 3 months. For more information contact us at sdales@hydra-int.com or call the number above.
